I have some code also to use the Yahoo! API to search for events from our events.xml page on upcoming, and optionally add them to upcoming if they are not already there, but there are a number of problems I need to resolve first. Specifically they seem to be moving away from requiring 'Metro area' definitions for events, and you don't need to use them to enter events or search for events on the site, but you still do need to use them through the API, and so it's not possible to add events with the api if they are in locations without an established metro area on upcoming as far as I can tell. Will post to a YWS group to discuss. The WebService::Upcoming Perl module is out of date so I have a small patch for that also ( http://people.freebsd.org/~murray/patches/WebService-Upcoming-0.05.diff) - Murray On Sun, Jun 8, 2008 at 4:02 PM, Simon L.
