Well, as a matter of fact that's exactly what 'make clean' will do, if you run it from /usr/ports :-) Faster ways can be crafted with careful find/xargs/rm usage, like for instance: # cd /usr/ports # find . -type d | grep 'work$' | xargs rm -fr but 'rm -fr' is a dangerous thing too use, and you should avoid playing around with find and rm, if you 're not sure of what each command you issue as root will do. - Giorgos To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message
