None of the recipients of list messages can remove you from the lists.
If you want to remove yourself from a list, then you need to go to the list management page at
https://lists.freebsd.org
find the list you're interested in, for example
https://lists.freebsd.org/subscription/freebsd-hackers
and click on the 'unsubscribe' list. That will send an email which should automatically unsubscribe you.
Best wishes,
Norman
(retaining other lists in the cc for info)
