The following reply was made to PR i386/70482; it has been noted by GNATS. From: "Internet Partners, Inc. Tech Support" <support@ipinc.net> To: <bug-followup@FreeBSD.org>, <morte@dsee.fee.unicamp.br> Cc: Subject: Re: i386/70482: Array adapter problems Date: Wed, 31 Jan 2007 14:30:18 -0800 Please load the latest FreeBSD 6.2 and download ftp://ftp.jurai.net/users/winter/idacontrol.tar and install it. Then run idaconfig show and add the output to this PR. Matthew N Dodd suggested on the freebsd-scsi mailing list to another poster to change #define IDA_QCB_MAX = 128 instead of 256 in sys/dev/ida/idavar.h who was having similar problems. The other poster did this and reported it fixed the problems. Please try this and report back if it corrects it. You should insure that you are using genuine Compaq disk drives in your array. Compaq, now HP, has always stated that non-Compaq disks were unsupported on these array cards and may misbehave. Ted
