Hi,

Does it make a difference if you

  set ifaddr x.x.x.x y.y.y.y

in your config ?  Perhaps your ISP is expecting you to specify an IP
number....  I'm guessing this because the peer is bringing things down
as soon as you send an IPCP request for 0.0.0.0.
