Hi Bruce, sorry to bother you -- I just read your post in freebsd-current and wonder whether my problem can be correlated -- I get "Supervisor read: page not present" panics very often, usually under busy I/O activity (running 3.0-19980928-BETA and using cam), and the trace from ddb always shows _ffs_balloc() as the culprit. The kernel has compiled with -O (I think it's the default, anyway). Any hints greatly appreciated!
