There are binaries at ftp://releng3.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/snapshots/alpha/4.0-20000208-CURRENT/XF86336/ However, people have been complaining that one of the X libs is missing from the snapshot. I'm not sure if that affects the binaries in this location or not. If it were me, I'd just build X from ports.
