yes, exactly, even :
$rm /Volumes/MSDOSBOOT/armstub8-gic.bin 

( while I wouldn't swear that the initialization of your pcie driver from fdt will continue to run smoothly in the boot-process directly from SSD,
I expect necessary adjustments..)
