            Bug ID: 247004
           Summary: awk bad manpage
           Product: Base System
           Version: 11.3-STABLE
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: bin
          Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: uzsolt@uzsolt.hu

man awk says:
-V Print the version number of awk to standard output and exit.

But:
$ awk -V
awk: unknown option -V ignored

awk: no program given

Only the --version works but it doesn't appear in man page.
