Any ideas what could cause this error? /kernel: pcm0: play interrupt timeout, channel dead I've seen this with pcm0: <AudioPCI ES1371> at io 0xe000 irq 11 (1p/1r channels duplex) (SB16 PCI) and pcm0: <SB DSP 4.13> at io 0x220 irq 5 drq 1:5 (1p/1r channels duplex) (5 year old genuine SB16 ISA. It works, so who cares if it's old.) Both machines are running 4.1-STABLE. It's not so much the error that annoys me, it's the fact that only a reboot will let me use the soundcard again. Is there no way to "reset" the soundcard without having to reboot, to clear this error? thanks. -- Ben Smithurst / ben@FreeBSD.org / PGP: 0x99392F7D To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-multimedia" in the body of the message
