I am trying to install the 5.2 for AMD64 on a Tyan S2882 dual processor = with 4GB of RAM. The kernel panic when loading the asr driver form my = Adaptec ZCR 2015S RAID. I have loaded 4.9 and 5.2 i386 with no problems = on the exact same machine. FWIW I also installed SuSE 9.0 i386 without a = problem, but when I tried SuSE 9.0 AMD64, it panicked with a page fault = loding the dpt_i2o driver. Any ideas? My ultimate objective is to = benchmark MySQL on 4.9, 5.2 i386, 5.2 amd64, as well as Suse in 32 and = 64 bit mode using the latest 2.4 and 2.6 kernels. Paul
