An update to my enquiry from last month, where I was asking why the 'wi'
driver in "4.4-PRERELEASE" (but not 4.3) was frequently printing out the
following error message:
/kernel: wi0: timeout in wi_seek to 2021/0; last status 4000
It turns out that upgrading my Lucent Orinoco card's firmware version - to
version 7.52 - fixed the problem.
