Yes. It's the latest. I really don't know what to think. The same configuration, even with new ATA driver work fine for me. My configuration #!/usr/local/lib/vmware/bin/vmware ide0:0.deviceType = "rawDisk" floppy0.present = TRUE memsize = 8 ide0:0.present = TRUE ide0:0.fileName = "rawide" ide0:1.present = TRUE ide0:1.deviceType = "atapi-cdrom" ide0:1.fileName = "/dev/racd0c" ----rawide------ DEVICE /dev/wd0 [skipped] --------------- Next one dumb question. Did you have unmounted the cdrom drive when you are run vmware? And the next one, did you have CD disk in the tray? -- Vladimir Silyaev P.S. I change mailing list from hackers to the emulation. P.S.S. Anyone have the same problem with vmware and CD-ROM? Please respond personally, not to the mailing list.
