Here is what I found: - DHCP configured my ethernet during install properly to the best of my knowledge (ie - hostname, IPs, etc were set) - Installing via FTP works fine. - SSH worked fine locally with no need for RSAREF. - Installing via proxy does NOT currently work. When attempting to install via releng4 via my Apache proxy, I had several things going on. 1.) I would repeatedly get the following warning when I set the media: Warning: Zero length name or value passed to variable_set2(httpFtpMode) 2.) Using the default for releng4, it would either request the root document "/", or it appeared to be missing the "i386" part of the path. 3.) When hand-entering the path to Releng4, it appeared to believe that the distributions were in one large set (ie - bin.tgz, rather than bin.aa, bin.ab, etc.) 4.) When installing via proxy locally, it appeared to work. Relevant parts of my apache log will follow from home... -Brian To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-qa" in the body of the message
