I have a wonderful 800N, and the PCMCIA facility is really bad.  Even
under (ahem) Windows, it will lock up when a CF card is inserted.  I
have had good luck with the 3COM 589 ethernets, but nothing else.  I
don't think you'll have much luck with this machine.
