If so what is the fix/patch ? Can't say I have. Try blowing away /usr/src/sys and redownloading. If that doesn't work, please post the error messages, the revision of if_de.c (look in it for the $Id: ...$ header), the version of FreeBSD you are running and perhaps your kernel config file.
