The service is terminated for 10 minutes because of limits exceeded: runs per minute, runs per host for minute or total services run at the same time. I guess you're sending many mails at this time, the remote smtp servers are requesting ident(auth) for every connection. If you= run inetd with the default limits this won't happen. But I may be wrong.. I have this error periodically showing in the logs. --=20 Players win and Winners play Have a lucky day --+pHx0qQiF2pBVqBT Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP 6.5.1i iQCVAwUBOlrTgfD9M5lef5W3AQHQ2QP/XJ1unyv8CKdqcLee/df3x+Iu1XHgu5i2 7Z9Nfj/MrdMkXtTkQE36JQH64rjXe2FXlI2ArSs2TCfNIG87vxXl1/rXow5A8Vuf OQHeaDZVHrjrCk8aoxpwdKhrxfqBCRoF1Htorf2tkCvAHhFXf3TbX4TbkpzaIDJF MBiWiu9p4oM= =D++K -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --+pHx0qQiF2pBVqBT-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-security" in the body of the message
