Hi Andre, As an additional point, you should never install shell scripts with world-writable permissions. This is just asking for someone to hijack the script. By the nature of your question, I suspect you are also trying to run your script as root. This too is bad practice. In fact, if you want a colour ls output, you really want "ls -G".
