On the advice of my counsel, er, mentor, no. This is because the previous version did not live at this location in the tree. This version is at /usr/src/sys/dev/matcd; the previous generation was at /usr/src/sys/i386/isa/matcd. Plus, the old one got moved to the Attic some time back, and it's dark and spooky there.
