There are still 2 things I don't understand:

1. Why does this error pop up *now*?

If the package was really broken, data.tzst should have been broken for ages as
well. 

2. Why is this problem not catched in the packaging step?

Obviously, the entire package system can be knocked out because of 1 broken
package. Not good.
