I hope this is the right list. Please cc me as I'm not subscribed. I have an older Digital HiNote Ultra II with a P150 inside. There is a ESS1681 sound chip inside. I was rather hoping to turn this into a mp3 juke box (I'm hoping the 150 is fast enough, I know my P75 in my libretto wasn't, but my brother's 120 was fast enough). I've added device pcm to my kernel config, but it doesn't probe. I notice that the 1688 is supported. Anybody know if the 1681 will work or not if I hack the probe routine? Oh, this is in 4.2-stable as of 4am Jan 01, 2001. Warner To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-multimedia" in the body of the message
