I hope that is not your root password! Change it immediately. We did not need to know that to help you with this. To allow a user to 'su root' edit /etc/group. At the end of the line that defines the group 'wheel' add the usernames. wheel:*:0:usernam1,usernam2,yada,yada Later, Jason Wells
