Hi,

I have just uploaded a modified dump utility that has a -N
option to traverse the filesystem in a logical manner by
file/directory name (instead of by a straight inode list)
when building its list of files to dump.

This allows one to set nodump at the top of a directory
tree and exclude it from the dump (instead of having to
set nodump for every file).

See it at

Cheers, Mark
