Hi, I have just uploaded a modified dump utility that has a -N option to traverse the filesystem in a logical manner by file/directory name (instead of by a straight inode list) when building its list of files to dump. This allows one to set nodump at the top of a directory tree and exclude it from the dump (instead of having to set nodump for every file). See it at http://w1.874.telia.com/~u87405149/ftape.html Cheers, Mark To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hackers" in the body of the message
