I've felt this way for a long time. I am not disabled myself, but I've known some people who are, and I've seen some of the things that they've had to deal with. Generally speaking, if you can make something easy enough for them to use, then it's easier for everyone else to use, too. But then, I guess I'm the choir that you're preaching to. The problem is that we need to convince the rest of the world. > i've always laboured in teh view that the internet is supposed to be an > inclusive medium .. not teh now rapidly becoming devisively exclusive > LogIn/JoinHere/SignUpNow/GetYourAutherisedId etc etc etc kind of space > exclusionary sphere/space/world/system and so on on on. Yup. And stupid crap like JavaScript and Flash tend to be more exclusive. And everyone and their friggin' brother seems to want to make their website dependant on these kinds of technologies. I think maybe we need a few more ADA lawsuits filed against companies (and other organizations) for the crimes they are committing with their websites. -- Brad Knowles, <brad@stop.mail-abuse.org> "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." -- Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790), reply of the Pennsylvania Assembly to the Governor, November 11, 1755 SAGE member since 1995.
