just for fun of it, i tried to do 'make buildworld -j 12' on my 6-way smp box. after a while (15-20 mins) the box will panic with this message: panic: APIC: Previous IPI is stuck cpuid = 0; boot() called on cpu#0 syncing disks, buffers remaining... panic: pmap_invalidate_range: interrupts disabled cpuid = 0; boot() called on cpu#0 Uptime: 1h33m58s i repeated this procedure 3 times, and it panics with the same message. now i'm compiling the kernel with debugging options, please advise me how to get more information out of this panic. this is the latest -CURRENT cvsupped today (june 15). running 'make buildworld' doesn't produce this panic. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
