Interesting. I've just dug out the invoice for my oldest Fujitsu SCSI
unit: It was purchased and installed in November 1993 and has been 100%
reliable ever since. Another two are both just under 2 years old and
have also given no trouble. The most recent pair have only just been
installed, so we'll see how they do...

In the same time period I've personally had three Seagate drives fail,
albeit these were IDE units, and I know of several others. The writer
of the Computer Shopper article has also had three Seagate units fail,
in a period of less than nine months. I'm glad to hear that their SCSI
units are not as troublesome!
