ZFSRoot installation, FreeBSD 9.0R. GPT partition. VmWare ESXi 4.1. Long delay (more 30 seconds) on loader disk detect. Debug print pointed to zfs/zfs.c:zfs_dev_init. This function found disk0 and walked over 128 potencial slices, trying 'p' slice and 's' slice. Each attempt -- 1/4s (and nothing found). How to speed up boot?
