Hi, I installed 4.0 current and use the default FTP server (Version 6.00LS). Every time when user try to connect to the box, it always shows the following similar messages in both root console and /var/log/messages: Oct 5 01:55:32 class ftpd[321]: no modules loaded for `ftpd' service Oct 5 01:55:32 class ftpd[321]: no modules loaded for `ftpd' service Oct 5 01:55:32 class ftpd[321]: no modules loaded for `ftpd' service Oct 5 01:55:32 class ftpd[321]: auth_pam: Permission denied Oct 5 01:55:32 class ftpd[321]: auth_pam: Permission denied Oct 5 01:55:32 class ftpd[321]: auth_pam: Permission denied What's wrong and could I avoid it ? thanks a bunch, Jia To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
