Sorry for the noise, I created boot/device.hints and added hint.fd.0.at ="fdc0" And all works. No further assistance needed. But if you want to help me with my cat problem by all means.. http://forums.freebsd.org/showthread.php?p=64027#post64027 -- I am my only local user and I cannot be trusted. This is a bad thing. Good thing is, in FreeBSD where there is a shell there is a way. Over the years I've come to regard you as people I've met. I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other, and only when I am alone am I truly together. Hans reiser is still my hero.
