The thermal zones for some reason do not have registers to read the tempera=
ture
from.  Hence some internal interface returns -1, which is converted into
slightly below absolute zero.

Your information about USB 2 vs USB 3 is interesting.  I did my previous
testing with a SATA HDD attached to an USB to SATA adapter, which should be
using USB 3.  Will test with that one again next week.
