Hi,
	Try with the key example from the manpage

          dd if=/dev/random of=/tmp/disk.key bs=64 count=1
           geli init -s 4096 -K /tmp/disk.key /dev/da0
           Enter new passphrase:
           Reenter new passphrase:
           # geli attach -k /tmp/disk.key /dev/da0
           Enter passphrase:
           # newfs /dev/da0.eli
           # mount /dev/da0.eli /mnt
           ...
           # umount /mnt
           # geli detach da0.eli
