Actually, I think you might have nailed it..
the qt23 port has this:
.if ${OSVERSION} >= 500029
NO_QT_OBJPRELINK= yes
.endif
but the portbuild script is still setting OSVERSION to 500027. I
thought I'd made all of those dynamic based on the version number in
the head of the CVS branch, but looks like I missed some.
