Note that I run this system with same hardware for about 2 weeks on STABLE and there it works like a charm. I never had any panics. The panics began with gcc3.2 in the base system. I run also without these ... options DISABLE_PSE options DISABLE_PG_G Still looks like memory corruption (which one can only see with FreeBSD CURRENT.) I also thought that vinum may be part of the problem. I've replaced all my vinum raid disk with a real hardware raid with new disks. Problem is still there. #14 0xc02f3518 in calltrap () at {standard input}:98 #15 0xc01d938e in exit1 (td=0xc1f950c0, rv=0) at vm_map.h:226 #16 0xc01d8efc in exit1 (td=0xc1f950c0, rv=-456012564) at /usr/src/sys/kern/kern_exit.c:112 #17 0xc0300754 in syscall (frame= {tf_fs = 47, tf_es = 47, tf_ds = 47, tf_edi = -1077937944, tf_esi = 0, tf_ ebp = -1077938072, tf_isp = -456012428, tf_ebx = -1, tf_edx = 10, tf_ecx = 0, tf _eax = 1, tf_trapno = 12, tf_err = 2, tf_eip = 134905791, tf_cs = 31, tf_eflags = 658, tf_esp = -1077938100, tf_ss = 47}) at /usr/src/sys/i386/i386/trap.c:1050 #18 0xc02f356d in Xint0x80_syscall () at {standard input}:140 Martin Martin Blapp, <mb@imp.ch> <mbr@FreeBSD.org> ------------------------------------------------------------------ ImproWare AG, UNIXSP & ISP, Zurlindenstrasse 29, 4133 Pratteln, CH Phone: +41 061 826 93 00: +41 61 826 93 01 PGP: <finger -l mbr@freebsd.org> PGP Fingerprint: B434 53FC C87C FE7B 0A18 B84C 8686 EF22 D300 551E ------------------------------------------------------------------ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
