As many as you can attach.... This is pretty limited by hardware on
a laptop, but I've had 300-link sessions running back-to-back on my
laptop (back-to-back = ``set device "!ppp -direct xx"''). Performance
was fairly bad with this number of sessions though :*I
Things seem to be pretty much linear for the first 100 links or so.
