Ghostscript has an X display component, but if you muck around in the
Ghostscript makefile there may be a way to disable it (--no-x with
configure or some define). I have X on the computers that I installed it
on so I can't say how to disable it offhand.

The old ports/packages tree used to pull stuff automatically (the way I
like it), but some people may have complained that they got built without
too much human intervention.
