Thank you!!! 

This has annoyed me for as long as I have been running FreeBSD and used
XMMS and GnomeMeeting! (Though apparently not enough for me to fix it
myself.) Both now work like they are supposed to. XMMS was just an
annoyance, but it was a real problem with GnomeMeeting.

Thanks to all of your work, audio is now working better than ever before.
