We've been planning to use NFS on freeBSD boxes to allow access to selected Windows PC's I've been trying to lay hands on a working implementation of the rlockd daemon. There is one amongst the ports collection but it's a dummy -- doesn't actually do any locking just always says "granted" to lock requests. Is anyone aware of a such a port? TIA Robin Melville.
