[BTW: I just looked at MAKEDEV, and there isn't a /dev/acd device in
the script. What does the acd driver use?]

In the same vein, can the acd driver be used to read CD DA
(i.e. convert audio CD tracks to mp3s?) or is it still only possible
with SCSI CDROMs? The reason I ask is that I get the following on
boot:

acd0: drive speed 2412 - 5512KB/sec, 256KB cache
acd0: supported read types: CD-R, CD-RW, CD-DA
                                         ^^^^^^^
acd0: Audio: play, 256 volume levels
acd0: Mechanism: ejectable tray
acd0: Medium: CD-ROM unknown medium, unlocked

Thanks
Viren
