My laptop IBM Z60T (ICH6) with FreeBSD 6.1 (update yesterday via CTM)=20
don't recognize sound card when i load "snd_ich".
I even try to change=20
device ID number on file /usr/src/sys/dev/sound/pci/ich.c. And when I=20
load =E2=80=9Csnd_ich=E2=80=9D FreeBSD recognize the sound card but the nex=
t wrong=20
message appear on dmesg:

pcm0: <Intel=20

please help me !

     Perhaps your speaker/earphone failed=20
to be correctly connected
to the motherboard.
     On Microsoft Windows=20
XP, AC97 of ICH6 can be fully supported,
and you can tune volumes of=20
all channels. But on FreeBSD, only
major features have been supported.
     Try the speaker/earphone outlet on the back cover of your
computer=20
case. Please post the result of running "mixer".
