This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_000D_01BFF0F8.C92D2D40 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable In a previous post I stated that when I boot my system and loaded the = kernel I compiled using the 4.1-RC sources, my system hung. I was able = to boot into single user mode from the kernel I built using the 17 July = "GENERIC" kernel config file. When I run the "ifconfig ep0 inet = 192.168.0.3 mask 255.255.255.0" command, the system hangs. I've compared my old kernel config with the GENERIC config file and = don't have any real difference. Ideas? ------=_NextPart_000_000D_01BFF0F8.C92D2D40 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.50.4134.600" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>In a previous post I stated that when I = boot my=20 system and loaded the kernel I compiled using the 4.1-RC sources, my = system=20 hung.
