So, all I have to do is write the kernel first onto the filesystem so that it fits into the first 2 MB. I will try this right tomorrow. No, no, I like what I'm hearing. Of course 1 or 1000 systems doesn't matter, since you have to get it right only once and then clone it a 1000 times.
