Subject:   What is the recommended LinuxEmulator and kernel that will run skype-devel and maybe Flash9

Since the skype port has some upgrade issues I decided to build  
skype-devel on AMD64 Current and know that a 2.6 kernel is needed.   
What would be the recommended, leading edge linux emulator and kernel  
version.  This is my laptop and isn't really mission critical so I can  
give myself the luxury of doing some experimenting.  If I'm lucky one  
of these days the linux flash9 plugin may even work.
