'man polling' Compile in to your kernel and enable polling Main compile options are. options DEVICE_POLLING options HZ=1000 sysctl.conf kern.polling.idle_poll=1 kern.polling.user_frac=50 kern.polling.enable=1 Then have something like 'ifconfig em0 polling' in /etc/rc.local Mike
