believe for some reason it would probably result in world peace and fast technological and social advancement. religious nuts would try to kill them. no doubt at all. most realistic: what happened to the native inhabitants of the americas? or when any higher technology civilization interacted with a lower technology one. that would be our future. or maybe we'd go the way of the philippines. still existing, but alienized and living on a land named after them or their culture.
