Hmmm... Why not just get as far as the machine needing to be unplugged - and
then display something on the console? Like 'Pull Plug NOW!' or similar?
Maybe even a nice 'Shutdown in Progress' message followed by 'Pull Plug Now'?
If they are human, I'm sure they'll be able to work out where the plug is...
Either that, or they'll be putting cold coffee on the laptop trying in vain to
heat it up for the rest of the show days (having unplugged the kettle)... ;-)
