My home machine works fine via masquerading.  This was delivery/post 
to/from  a work machine via intranet firewall etc.  (I haven't had
much time to tinker at home so I was going to get the lists at work)
It may be a mailer or some such issue, but it is irrelevant now.  I
tried many things, but I don't think the problem was within my
control to configure, I am an end user at work. :l
