I'd also like to object. The perl documentation has consistently stated that a symlink to /usr/bin/perl should be created so that scripts can use #!/usr/bin/perl. Removing this symlink will impact users as well as administrators and (IMHO) will adversely impact on the image of FreeBSD. -- Peter Jeremy
