Linux has a thing called drbd which is a block device that allows the duplication of data across a network. The system writes to the local disk first then the remote disk keeping them in sync. Is there an equivalent in FreeBSD or is there one planned or is there another way of going about things that gives similar results. See here for more info http://www.drbd.org/
