the man page describes a '-f filename' usage of arp that is missing from FreeBSD 2.0 and later. why was this removed? i have been using it for the lines on a terminal server that does not provide addresses resolution for its ports. i can use '-s hostname ether_addr' instead, but '-f filename' was so convienent. ;( jmb Jonathan M.
