Hi!
Sometimes things are not the way they seem to be... <8-)
I tried to install 3.0-970823-SNAP with MP SPEC v1.1 three times.
I chose the following distributions: bin, des/des, manpages and src/sys.
The result always was a panic after printing
"Attempting to install all selected distributions..".
Then I switched over to MP SPEC v1.4. To accelerate the install process
I left out the manpages. This try was successful. So I thought the different
MP SPEC solved the problem.
But using the distributions bin, des/des, manpages and src/sys with MP SPEC
v 1.4 crashes the machine a the same point. So the cause is not the MP SPEC
but the combination of distributions.
Sorry for giving wrong alarm...
Best regards Dirk
